Website Acceptable Use Policy
Effective from: 24 May 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to your use of Monitrax, including the website, application, marketplace, messaging, uploads, support channels, and any community or collaboration features.
It forms part of Monitrax's Terms of Service.
1. Lawful use
You must use Monitrax only for lawful purposes.
You must not use Monitrax in a way that breaches any law, regulation, third-party right, contractual obligation, professional obligation, or court order.
2. Prohibited conduct
You must not:
- access or attempt to access another person's account, data, or systems;
- interfere with Monitrax's security, integrity, performance, or availability;
- bypass authentication, authorisation, usage limits, security controls, or access restrictions;
- upload malware, malicious code, corrupted files, or harmful content;
- scrape, harvest, copy, or extract data except through features we provide;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code, models, algorithms, prompts, or non-public logic;
- use automated bots, crawlers, scrapers, AI agents, or similar systems without our written permission;
- resell, sublicense, commercially exploit, or provide access to Monitrax without our written agreement;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, authority, affiliation, or relationship with Monitrax;
- use Monitrax to send spam, scams, phishing material, malware, or unlawful communications;
- use Monitrax to harass, threaten, abuse, defame, intimidate, or harm another person;
- upload content that is unlawful, misleading, deceptive, defamatory, discriminatory, abusive, obscene, infringing, or harmful;
- use Monitrax to provide regulated advice or services unless you are appropriately licensed or authorised to do so.
3. User content
You are responsible for content you upload, submit, send, or display through Monitrax.
You must ensure you have the right to upload and use that content.
You must not upload unnecessary sensitive information or third-party personal information unless you have a lawful basis to do so.
4. Marketplace and messaging conduct
If Monitrax includes marketplace, messaging, referral, or professional connection features, you must use those features honestly, respectfully, and lawfully.
You must not use those features for spam, harassment, scams, fake leads, false reviews, misleading profiles, or unauthorised professional services.
5. Security testing
You must not conduct penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, load testing, scraping, or other security testing against Monitrax without our written permission.
If you believe you have found a vulnerability, contact us at admin@monitrax.com.au and do not exploit, disclose, or access data beyond what is necessary to report the issue.
6. Enforcement
If we reasonably believe this Policy has been breached, we may take action, including:
- warning you;
- removing content;
- restricting features;
- suspending or terminating access;
- preserving evidence;
- reporting conduct to regulators, law enforcement, or affected parties where appropriate;
- taking legal action.
Where reasonable and lawful, we will give notice before taking action. We may act immediately where urgent action is required.
7. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time.
The updated version applies from the effective date stated in that version.
