AI Use Disclosure

Monitrax may include AI-assisted features that help users understand, organise, classify, summarise, or model information.
This disclosure explains how AI-assisted features are intended to work and the boundaries that apply.
1. What AI-assisted features may do
AI-assisted features may help with:
- explaining factual concepts;
- summarising user-entered information;
- classifying transactions or records;
- answering user-directed factual questions;
- assisting onboarding;
- creating summaries or reports;
- modelling scenarios based on assumptions selected or accepted by you;
- helping you navigate Monitrax features.
AI-assisted features are software support tools only.
2. What AI-assisted features do not do
AI-assisted features do not provide:
- financial product advice;
- credit assistance;
- mortgage broking services;
- tax agent services;
- legal advice;
- accounting advice;
- property investment advice;
- investment advice;
- superannuation advice;
- personal recommendations.
AI outputs do not assess whether a decision, product, provider, strategy, tax position, loan, investment, property, structure, or superannuation action is suitable for you.
3. No recommendations
AI-assisted features must not be treated as recommending that you should take or avoid any action.
This includes decisions about:
- buying, selling, holding, or switching financial products;
- applying for, refinancing, consolidating, increasing, reducing, or switching loans;
- making superannuation contributions, withdrawals, rollovers, or SMSF decisions;
- taking a tax position;
- buying, selling, renovating, developing, or financing property;
- creating, restructuring, or winding up companies, trusts, SMSFs, partnerships, or other structures;
- choosing advisers, accountants, tax agents, lawyers, brokers, lenders, or other professionals.
4. AI outputs can be wrong
AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, inconsistent, or unsuitable for your circumstances.
AI systems can misunderstand data, misclassify transactions, provide outdated information, omit important context, or produce confident-sounding errors.
You must independently verify AI outputs before relying on them.
You should obtain advice from an appropriately licensed or registered professional before making financial, credit, tax, legal, accounting, investment, superannuation, property, or business decisions.
5. Data sent to AI providers
To provide AI-assisted features, Monitrax may send limited information to AI service providers, including Anthropic, Google Gemini, or other providers we identify.
We take reasonable steps to minimise information sent to AI providers.
Where possible, we redact, minimise, aggregate, or de-identify information before AI processing.
We do not use your personal information or CDR data to train general AI models unless we have clearly told you and obtained any consent required by law.
CDR data is disclosed to AI providers only where permitted under the CDR Rules, covered by relevant CDR consent and contractual arrangements, and reasonably necessary to provide the specific feature you requested.
6. Human review
AI outputs are not always reviewed by a human before being shown to you.
Where a feature involves high-risk information, such as tax, credit, superannuation, or investment-related content, you should assume the output is informational only and must be checked independently.
7. Reporting unsafe or incorrect AI outputs
If an AI output appears to provide personal advice, a recommendation, or an instruction about what you should do, do not rely on it.

If an AI output appears incorrect, offensive, unsafe, or inappropriate, please report it so we can investigate and improve our controls.
8. Changes to AI features
We may change, limit, suspend, or remove AI-assisted features at any time for security, safety, legal, technical, product, or compliance reasons.
AI-assisted features may be released as beta, trial, pilot, or experimental features.
