Subscription and Billing Terms
Effective from: 24 May 2026
These Subscription and Billing Terms apply to paid Monitrax plans, trials, add-ons, and usage-based features.
They form part of Monitrax's Terms of Service.
1. Plans and pricing
Monitrax may offer free plans, paid plans, trials, add-ons, usage-based features, or promotional offers.
Plan inclusions, pricing, billing period, trial terms, renewal terms, and cancellation options will be shown before purchase.
Prices may be stated monthly, annually, per user, per account, per feature, per usage tier, or another basis shown at checkout.
Unless stated otherwise, prices are in Australian dollars.
2. GST and taxes
Prices may include or exclude GST depending on how they are displayed at checkout.
Where GST or another tax applies, it will be charged in accordance with applicable law.
You are responsible for any taxes, duties, bank fees, currency conversion fees, or payment provider fees that apply to your purchase, except for taxes based on our income.
3. Payment processing
Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider, currently Stripe or another provider we identify at checkout.
We do not store your full payment card number.
By purchasing a paid plan, you authorise us and our payment provider to charge the payment method you provide for applicable fees.
You must ensure your payment details remain accurate and up to date.
4. Automatic renewal
Unless stated otherwise at purchase, paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period.
You must cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge.
If you do not cancel before renewal, the subscription will renew and the next period's fees will be charged.
5. Trials
Monitrax may offer free or discounted trials.
Trial terms will be shown at sign-up.
Unless stated otherwise:
- a trial is available only once per user or account;
- we may end or limit a trial if we reasonably believe it is being misused;
- if payment details are required for a trial, the subscription may automatically convert to a paid plan at the end of the trial unless you cancel before the trial ends.
6. Cancellation
You may cancel a paid subscription through your account settings or by contacting us.
Unless stated otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
After cancellation, you may continue using paid features until the end of the paid period, unless your account is suspended or terminated for breach.
7. Refunds
Refunds are provided where required by the Australian Consumer Law or another applicable law.
Otherwise, refunds are not guaranteed and may be provided at our discretion.
If Monitrax materially reduces the core functionality of a paid plan during a billing period and the change adversely affects you, you may cancel and request a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of the current paid billing period, subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
8. Failed payments
If a payment fails, we may notify you and ask you to update your payment method.
If payment remains unpaid, we may suspend, downgrade, or restrict paid features after giving reasonable notice, unless urgent action is required.
You remain responsible for unpaid fees for services already provided.
9. Price changes
We may change prices from time to time.
Price changes will not apply to your current paid billing period unless required by law or clearly disclosed at purchase.
If a price change affects your renewal, we will take reasonable steps to notify you before the change applies.
If you do not agree to the new price, you may cancel before the renewal date.
10. Plan changes
You may be able to upgrade, downgrade, or change plans through your account settings.
The effect of a plan change, including any pro-rating, immediate charge, credit, or feature change, will be shown where practical before you confirm the change.
11. Promotional offers
Promotional offers may be subject to additional conditions.
We may withdraw or change promotional offers at any time, provided this does not affect rights already accrued under an accepted offer.
Promotional offers cannot be transferred, exchanged for cash, or combined unless we say otherwise.
12. Consumer guarantees
Nothing in these Subscription and Billing Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified under the Australian Consumer Law.
